"Action of Colors"

Angeregt durch die streng konstruktivistischen Arbeiten des Bauhauslehrers Josef Albers, die er in seinem Lebenswerk "The interaction of color" schuf, in denen er die unterschiedlichen Wechselbeziehungen von Farben untereinander erforscht und betrachtet hat, habe ich die Serie "The action of colors" geschaffen. Im Kontrast zu den streng geometrisch-konstruktiven Bildern Josef Albers´ sind meine Werke abstrakt-expressive, dynamische Kompositionen. Gemeinsam ist das quadratische Format und die Farbigkeit, gegensätzlich die Dynamik in den Bildern. Hier ist eine kleine Auswahl meiner Werke zu sehen.

Inspired by the strictly constructivist works of the Bauhaus teacher Josef Albers, which he created in his life's work "The Interaction of Color," in which he explored and examined the different interrelationships of colors with each other, I created the series "The Action of Colors." In contrast to Josef Albers' strictly geometric-constructive images, my works are abstract-expressive, dynamic compositions. What they have in common is the square format and the use of color, oppositely the dynamics in the pictures. Here is a small selection of my works.
